Overview

Trongsa, located in central Bhutan, is a town steeped in deep historical and cultural significance. It is often referred to as the “Gateway to Eastern Bhutan” and is the ancestral home of Bhutan’s royal family.
Dramatically built along a ridge, the entire town overlooks the breathtaking Mangde River gorge, with its massive dzong dominating the landscape. Trongsa is a place where history, spirituality, and nature come together beautifully.
