Overview

Punakha is one of Bhutan’s most picturesque valleys, known for its warm climate, fertile farmlands, and the iconic Punakha Dzong—the most beautiful dzong in the country. Once the capital of Bhutan, Punakha remains the spiritual and historical heart of the nation.
